Lindsay Sanchez

Short Bio
Lindsay Sanchez writes cozy mysteries with romance that deliver laughs, intrigue, and guaranteed happy endings.
A podcast host, avid reader, and enthusiastic thrower of book parties, she turned a friend’s challenge into a decade-long love affair with storytelling.
Ten years and countless bowls of popcorn later, she’s still crafting stories that offer readers exactly what she needs. Escape, laughter, and the comforting certainty that good wins in the end.
Raised on Agatha Christie and Masterpiece Theatre, she now juggles four kids, one husband, an Instagram-worthy golden retriever. With a firm belief that life’s too short for sad endings, she writes to connect, to entertain, and to remind you that even mystery can be cozy when there’s love and justice waiting on the other side.

Long Bio
Lindsay Sanchez started her writing career ten years ago when a friend casually suggested Lindsay probably couldn’t write a book. So naturally, Lindsay wrote one to prove her wrong. What began as literary spite transformed into obsession. She fell head-over-heels with storytelling and has been chasing that thrill ever since. Fueled by a childhood diet of Masterpiece Theatre, Psych, and enough Agatha Christie to teach her that the butler definitely did it (or did he?).
But Five years ago, Lindsay poured her heart into a story that was well-written, carefully plotted, and devastatingly realistic. Too realistic, it turned out, because no body wanted to read it. In that dark moment Lindsay almost quit, but she learned one important lesson that helped her: people were exhausted. They didn’t need more heaviness. They didn’t want to finish their day with a book that mirrored all the hard things they were already living. They needed escape. They needed to laugh. And they needed to believe that problems could be solved, love could conquer all, and justice would prevail—even if it required a clever amateur sleuth and a suspicious casserole.
So Lindsay made a choice. She’d write the books she needed to read. Cozy mysteries sparkling with humor, warming with romance, and twisted with just enough intrigue to keep you frantically flipping pages past bedtime. Stories where the worst thing that happens is murder (which, let’s be honest, is actually the worst thing), and the best thing is watching two people fall in love while catching a killer. Stories that feel like coming home.
Actually writing these stories requires something Lindsay is perpetually short on: uninterrupted time. She shares her life with four beautiful, and loud children, an amazing husband who’s learned not to be alarmed when she googles how long it takes someone to drown, and a golden retriever so photogenic she really should have her own Instagram.
When she’s not writing, parenting, or podcasting, you’ll find Lindsay doing one of two things: eating fruit (peaches, mangoes, berries—if it grows on a plant and tastes like sunshine, she’s interested) or watching funny movies. She has a strict no-sad-endings policy. She believes stories should make you feel lighter, and laughter is underrated. And she believes that kindness, honesty, and finding the fun in every situation aren’t just nice ideas—they’re survival skills.
Lindsay writes because it’s fun, yes, but also because stories are how we connect. Every book is a conversation, an invitation to sit down together and puzzle through clues, fall in love with characters, and remember that even the messiest mysteries can have a happy ending. In a world that often feels overwhelming, she offers something simple and profound: a few hours where you can relax, smile, and trust that everything will work out in the end. Because in a Lindsay Sanchez novel, it always does.
